Please, no
I was scrolling through my dashboard/newsfeed whatever you would like to call it, and I saw something I never want to see again.
Yup, that’s what it looks like. Someone “liveblogging” their child birth.
There is so much wrong with this. Birth is not something for the entire world to see/hear about! Seriously, gross.
Newsflash: Your Facebook friends DO NOT care about your child birth. There might be one or two who are interested…text them. Don’t update Facebook or Twitter or whatever else to broadcast a baby popping out of you.
Gross.
Stop.

Amen sista! I’m surprised by stuff like this. I’ve seen some horrible accident photos lately on FB too. I’m not sure I want to see gory stuff when I’m scrolling through FB. Ewwwww. TMI.

Not only that, and maybe I’m showing my age, but. . . how about actually taking part in the birth YOURSELF (which you are anyway) without having to be tweeting or whatever at the SAME TIME?!? For Pete’s sake, this should be a fairly important time in your life, I would think, to be IN THE MOMENT. Am I way off base here??

I am with you, ladies. There are some things that are just better shared in person or at least with select people – not everyone you know, from your old high school boyfriend to your grandmother, at the same time!
Here’s a few things that I’ve seen shared on FB: a coupon deal on hemrrhoid cream and a possible birth defect. Oi.
